DZ-licensed driver ready for my first big truck. I've spent years running a 1-tonne 3500 hard: heavy metal, long loads and the busiest route in the company. Now I'm looking for a company that will put me in a DZ truck and let me prove what I can do.
Years on the road and on the warehouse floor. Clean abstract, mechanically minded, and based in Toronto. So far I've done it all in a 1-tonne 3500. I have my DZ with air brakes and I'm ready to go bigger. I'm open to driving, equipment and warehouse leadership roles within a sensible commute of the city.
I run the highest-volume delivery route in the company in a 1-tonne 3500: up to 10 stops a day across the GTA and 5,000 lbs out, plus 5,000 lbs of pickups back for restock. I secure mixed metal loads (bar, tube, sheet and plate up to 24′) to NSC Standard 10 with rated ratchet straps, edge protectors and proper tie-down counts, with zero load shifts or product damage, and I unload on my own with forklifts, zoom booms and hoists.
20 to 35 stops a day across Ontario and Quebec in Sprinter vans, on time and consistent for residential and commercial customers.
I led a team of 10 in an ISO 9001 metals warehouse, handling order prep, loading, routing and paperwork for straight trucks and tractor-trailers.
I ran industrial saws and CNC equipment for high-volume precision aluminum parts, holding tolerances within six thousandths of an inch, and handled the machines' upkeep.

Resume (PDF)What you get when you put me on your crew.
I've learned forklifts, rotators, zoom booms, Bobcats and CNC saws, and earned my DZ with air brakes. Picking up a new machine and getting it right is my favourite part of any job, and a bigger truck is the next one I want to master.
I'm always willing to learn and adapt to whatever situation the day brings. A challenge is what makes one day different from the next. Nothing is more satisfying than solving a problem no one else could, and I take pride in leading by example and showing others safer, smarter ways to get hard jobs done.
I run the company's busiest route, with a clean driving record and no product damage. When I say a load will be there, it's there. Snow, rain or ice, the route gets done.
I load, strap and unload on my own, using the right tie-downs and WLL for every load, and I recheck them on the road. I do my own daily inspections. Send me out and the job comes back finished.
On machines I know, when something's obviously wrong, nine times out of ten I can track it down, make the simple fix and get it back up and running. I take care of the gear like it's my own.
What I work on after the truck is parked.
Long routes across Ontario meant losing time to fuel stops, so I designed and built a custom 500-litre auxiliary fuel system for the van. More range, less downtime.
I built and run a Jellyfin server on my own domain so the people who matter most to me can stream for free and cut a few subscriptions off their monthly bills. It also keeps old favourites the streaming services dropped easy to find and watch. I built it with my college network admin training, and next I'm moving it to Linux and Docker.
Friends & family login →The goal: a LeftLaneLegend line of decals, tints and protection film, cut to fit car models across the road and ready to apply straight out of the package. No knife ever touches your paint. Today it's a logo, a plan and templates tested on my own 2022 Kia Forte. Over the next decade I want to grow it into a name drivers look for when they want their car done right.
Everything on this page I've done in a 1-tonne 3500: the company's busiest route, 10,000 lbs of metal a day, loads up to 24′ and no product damage. I have my DZ with air brakes and I'm ready to go bigger. I'm looking for a company that will give me my first shot in a straight truck, roll-off or flatbed. Give me the keys and some seat time, and I'll learn it inside and out.
